"I'm Reed Fish" with Jay Baruchel, Alexis Bledel and Shiri Appleby is finally available on DVD in Germany. The german title is "Mein Name ist Fish".

08.05.2008: "Great Buck Howard" is closing the CineVegas Festival

"The Great Buck Howard" is the Closing Night Film at CineVegas Festival 2008 which is taking place in Las Vegas June 12 - 21.

Director: Sean McGinly (USA, 2008 -- Closing Night Film) Law-school dropout Troy Gable (Colin Hanks) answers an ad for a "personal assistant to a celebrity performer," not knowing that the performer is Buck Howard (John Malkovich), a "mentalist" infamous for his 61 appearances on The Tonight Show, who has been reduced to a has-been magician in need of a pretty big trick to get him out of this slump.

07.05.2008: TGBH airs at Midfest Centerpiece Gala of the Seattle International Film Festival

The article "Seattle International Film Festival: Clear your calendar" mentions a screening of "The Great Buck Howard":

Many of the festival's trademark events will return: the Secret Festival (hush-hush Sunday screenings of movies whose titles can't be announced); a midnight-movie series; the all-ages Films4Families matinees; and themed programs such as Planet Cinema (environmental subject matter), Face the Music (music documentaries) and Alternate Cinema (experimental works). The festival's usual Saturday-night gala screenings, however, have been replaced with one midfest Centerpiece Gala (Sean McGinly's comedy "The Great Buck Howard") and a Gay-La featuring C. Jay Cox's "Kiss the Bride."

Warner Brothers is launching an online stream - TheWB.com - with full episodes of shows such as Gilmore Girls, Everwood, Buffy the vampire slayer, Roswell and many more.

TV.com reported yesterday in their article "TheWB.com detailed, Buffy, Mars included" that the episodes will be free and ad-supported, and will mainly target women in the prized 16-to-34-year-old group.

"Ball Don't Lie" starring Chris "Ludacris" Bridges, Nick Cannon, Rosanna Arquette, Harold Perrineau and Emilie de Ravin is currently shown at Tribeca Film Festival in New York City.

The world premiere took place on April 26, 2008. Upcoming screening dates include May 3 at 12 p.m. and 11.59 p.m.

The latest issue of the german "InTouch" (19/08, April 30, 2008) Katherine Heigl speaks about the crazy Hollywood diet. She tells the mag that she's a normal woman with a normal size. She adds that she always lies when it comes up to her weight. 60 kilo is her standard answer.

29.04.2008: Emilie de Ravin stars alongside Johnny Depp in "Public Enemies"

With reference to Variety, Comingsoon.net reports that Emilie De Ravin has been cast in a supporting role in Michael Mann's "Public Enemies", starring Johnny Depp and Christian Bale.

An adaptation of Brian Burrough's book "Public Enemies: America's Greatest Crime Wave and the Birth of the FBI, 1933-43," the film centers on the government's attempt to stop John Dillinger and his gang. Depp is playing Dillinger to Bale's famed FBI agent Melvin Purvis.

De Ravin will next be seen in The Perfect Game and Ball Don’t Lie, a selection in this year's Tribeca Film Festival.
